REDISCOVER YOU WORKSHOP...
About
How to Feel Like Yourself Again in Motherhood: the essential shifts to reclaim your sense of self and return to calm, grounded connection.Motherhood can be deeply meaningful - and it can also feel disorienting.
Many mothers quietly carry a sense of feeling lost, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of who they’re becoming in this season. You might love your children deeply, yet feel like parts of you have faded into the background. You may notice more overwhelm, guilt, emotional reactivity, or self-criticism than you expected - and wonder why this feels harder than it “should”.
This workshop exists to gently name what so many mothers are experiencing, and to help it make sense.
This workshop is for you if:
- You feel overwhelmed, unsettled, or disconnected from yourself in motherhood
- You’re asking, “Who am I now?” beyond the role of mother
- You feel guilty for wanting space, time, or a sense of self again
- You’re coping, organising, or pushing through yet still feel “off”
- You’re craving more steadiness, self-trust, and inner grounding in this season
At the heart of this workshop is an understanding of matrescence - the profound and transformative transition into, and through, motherhood.
Matrescence describes the emotional, psychological, physical, and identity shifts women experience as they become mothers. Despite how common this transition is, there is still very little education or support available, leaving many women feeling confused, isolated, or as though something is “wrong” with them.
In this 2-hour workshop, we’ll explore:
- Why feeling lost or disconnected in motherhood isn’t about being “too busy” or not coping well enough, its part of the natural transition into motherhood
- How matrescence impacts identity, values, emotions, and sense of self
- The unconscious stories & expectations that keep mothers stuck in guilt, self-criticism, and disconnection
- Three strategies that support greater groundedness, clarity, and self-connection
This workshop isn’t about fixing yourself or becoming a “better” mother.
It’s about understanding what you’re moving through - and meeting yourself with more compassion, clarity, and steadiness.
By the end of this workshop, you’ll:
- Understand why you’ve been feeling the way you have - and know you’re not alone
- Have language for the emotional and identity shifts of motherhood
- Feel more validated, grounded, and self-trusting
- Gain clarity on what genuinely supports you in this season
- Feel less like you’re fighting yourself, and more connected to who you are becoming
This workshop is a combination of powerful insights, reflection, and gentle grounding & embodiment practices to help integrate what we explore.
