As part of our Take the Way of the Gospel journey, parish clergy and leadership teams are invited to a practial workshop focused on collaboration - an essential part of becoming a vital parish.
Guided by Sr Cathy Solano RSM, participants will engage with Scripture, reflections and practical exercises designed to support leadership teams:
- recognise attitudes and habits that strengthen (or hinder) collaboration
- grow in the practice of encounter and listening
- deepen trust and understanding
- identify practical next steps to take back into parish life
This day will support leaders to grow in confidence helping our parishes become more vital and ready to reach out in mission.
Sr Cathy Solano RSM is a Sister of Mercy from Melbourne who began her ministry as a secondary teacher and has worked in Pakistan, Uganda, Sudan, South Sudan, and Kenya in education and pastoral roles. She holds a Masters of Theology in Intercultural Studies, and is trained as a spiritual director and pastoral supervisor. Cathy is currently the manager at Star of the Sea Guest House in Apollo Bay.
