The Whittlesea Early Years Partnership (WEYP) meets four times per year, bringing together family services and early years practitioners and professionals to share strategic information and opportunities with a focus on ‘Creating a connected and responsive early years network that enhances the well-being and development of children and families in the Whittlesea municipality’
WEYP aims to:
• lead, strengthen and resource local service sector and partnerships including schools, kindergarten and long day care.
• strengthen prevention and early intervention approaches across the service sector in response to emerging vulnerabilities including social isolation, growth impacts and family violence.
• provide a platform for sharing strategic information and opportunities that strengthen the service system and identify emerging community trends, needs, and partnership opportunities.
• utilise robust evidence to inform planning for working groups model.
