International Women’s Day 2026 | Balance the ScalesThe Santa Sabina Ex-Students’ Association, in partnership with the Parents & Friends’ Association and the College, warmly invites you to an evening of thoughtful conversation, shared reflection, and meaningful connection in celebration of International Women’s Day 2026.
We are proud to welcome a panel of remarkable Santa Sabina ex-students whose careers span science, law, human rights, corporate leadership and global organisations. Together, they reflect the strength, diversity and influence of our community across generations.
Panellists include:
• Dr Cathy Foley AO PSM (Class of 1975) – President of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE)
• Caroline Smith (Class of 1994, past parent) – General Manager Alliance Australia
• Sarah Dale (Class of 2004) – Principal Solicitor at the Refugee Advice and Casework Service
• Nina Kerwin Roman (Class of 2016) – Associate at Baker McKenzie, previously seconded as Legal Counsel at TikTok
Facilitated by
• Danielle Funston (Class of 1999 and current parent) – Partner, Maddocks Lawyers
The evening will commence at 6:00 pm with a substantial supper buffet, offering time to connect and network before our panel discussion begins.
The panel will explore this year’s theme, Balance The Scales, through reflections on equality, lived experience and the ways women contribute to and shape their communities. Seating will be arranged at round tables of up to 8.
