As we enter Holy Week, Sr Hilda OSB will assist us to rediscover God’s dream for our salvation.Dreaming is an essential part of our biblical, theological and cultural inheritance.
Martin Luther King’s famous speech, “I Have A Dream” and Episcopal priest, John Sanford’s Dreams God’s Forgotten Language encourage us to embrace what God had, and has, a dream for us. It’s a dream of invitation, not accusation, the acceptance of which He has left to you and me.
In this retreat day, we hope, through input, interaction, reflection, silence and prayer, to embrace this dream, this invitation and the unconditional love of God in Jesus.
One might also ask the question: What is your dream for God?
After all it is this mutual language with which He is very familiar and the road to our Resurrection.
