Join us for an unforgettable evening where you will get a behind the scenes look at the stunning wildlife across Southern Africa and Australia and learn some tips on how you can photograph them yourselves.
Alison Lee Rubie is a photographer and conservationist. She is a keeper at Taronga Zoo where she also teaches wildlife photography through short courses combining hands-on animal care with teaching beginner photographers how to capture meaningful images.
With over a decade of experience photographing wildlife across Southern Africa and Australia, her work has been recognised in competitions including the Mosman Photography Awards, Crikey! Magazine Cover competition and Australian Photographer of the Year. Driven by a deep love of animals and conservation, Alison is passionate about inspiring others to connect with and care for wildlife through photography, education and storytelling.
