Rabbit Control Field Day - Guildford

Connecting Country in partnership with Guildford and Upper Loddon Landcare (GULL) invite you to a Rabbit Control Field Day led by knowledgeable mentors from the Victorian Rabbit Action Network (VRAN).The day will include an indoor PowerPoint presentation followed by onsite demonstrations at a private property which will:
- Highlight the impact of rabbits on our environment and communities
- Outline the theory behind various rabbit control methods and the importance of coordinated control
- Use practical demonstrations of various control methods, including removal of harbour, ripping, laying baits, use of bait stations and smoking and fumigation of warrens.
The event will commence at the Guildford Hall before moving to the nearby demonstration site.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided on the day - please advise of any specific dietary requirements with your booking.
Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing, sturdy footwear, hat, sunscreen and bring a water bottle.
Note the field day will be rescheduled if an extreme weather event is forecast.
