Rise & Lead: Youth International Women's Day Breakfast
Celebrate International Women’s Day in the most inspiring way with a youth‑led breakfast designed by young women, for young women and gender‑diverse young people aged 17–25.
This uplifting morning brings together emerging leaders, musicians, creators, and change‑makers to explore this year’s theme: Balance the Scales. It aims to serve as a reminder that every young woman deserves to feel safe, heard, and empowered to shape her own life.
Enjoy a delicious grazing‑table breakfast (created by local female‑owned businesses), live acoustic music before diving into a powerful morning of connection and insight. Coffee van on site available for purchase.
You’ll hear from an all‑female panel of local leaders across marketing, finance, wellbeing and more — including Fiona Goodsite (MC), Jemma Lee (No Idea Agency) , Sarah Smelt (Finance Society), and more — followed by dynamic speed mentoring sessions where you can ask questions, gain real‑world advice, and build your network with women who’ve been where you are.
Whether you’re finishing school, stepping into study or work, or exploring your next steps, this event is your chance to:
✨ Build confidence
✨ Connect with supportive mentors
✨ Learn from inspiring women
✨ Meet like‑minded young people
✨ Feel part of a strong, diverse community
Created in partnership with local young women and supported by the City of Holdfast Bay. This is your space to be inspired, encouraged, and celebrated. Come for the breakfast. Stay for the sisterhood.
