International Women’s Day Picnic with WIFT WA
About
Join Women in Film and Television WA at Hyde Park on Sunday 8 March for International Women's Day 2026!This International Women's Day, we're aiming to 'Balance the Scales', a promise that every woman and girl – regardless of background or identity – should be safe, heard, and free to shape their own lives.
In 2026, too many across Australia and the world are still denied that fair go. Discriminatory laws, policies, and practices persist. Gender-based violence remains widespread, and structural barriers block too many from seeking or receiving justice.
This event will provide a safe space to celebrate ourselves, each other and the wonderful women in our life whilst exploring ways to overcome these adverse challenges for women.
