Guide to Editing Your Story

Are you writing your story and wondering how to edit the content you've written?When we are editing our own work it is very easy to miss the errors, which is why professional literature goes through many stages of editing. As your craft develops it is important to know the basics of self editing to enhance your writing and also build professional reputations within the industry.
This three hour course will inclide:
*Editing tips to achieve the most effective outcomes for your writing.
*Structural editing tutorial
*Sample writing critique and correction
*AI - Assist or Avoid
*Traffic light stragedy
This course suits all styles and contexts of writing and will be hosted by Sally Newman. It is recommended you bring a sample of your own writing for the exercises. (Not essential but preferred)
Sally Newman is the creative director of First Line Productions and founder of the independent publishing division of her business.
Please note this course is open to all ages and abilities as long as particpants can work independently or be supported with their own support workers.

Please bring a printed copy of your work if possible.
