Welcome to our Baptism registration portal where you will be able to view available dates and times for your child's baptism.We would like to draw your attention to the following key information. At our Parish, formation is an essential part of all our sacramental programmes. For Baptism, we require parents to complete a mandatory two-part formation programme consisting of:
* completing an easy, but meaningful online course
* attending an in-person preparation session
On completion of the online course, you will be issued with a certificate which you are required to send to the parish via email at baptism@rgcp.org.au. The online course should be completed before attending the preparation session.
To cover the costs of the formation programme and administration, the Parish recommends a donation of $150 for Baptism. We kindly ask that you make these donations at the end of the registration process on TryBooking.
Some important matters you may want to consider:
1. Godparents/Sponsors - assist parents to bring up the child in the Catholic faith. Therefore, they should be:
* 16 years of age or older
* Mature enough to accept this responsibility
* Fully initiated Catholic Christians ie baptised & confirmed Catholic who have received their First Communion
A sponsor from a different Christian denomination (not Jehovah's Witnesses or Mormons) is permissable provided at least one godparent is a fully initiated Catholic.
2. Photographs - in order to preserve the sanctity of the occasion, we request that you respectful and not hinder the officiating priest.
3. Family Mass - is a good way to prepare for Baptism and provides an opportunity to connect with the parish community. Children's liturgy runs during school terms and there is morning tea after Family Masses.

* St Charles Borromeo - Sat 6pm & Sun 8am, 10am & 6pm
4. Play groups provide faith and fun during the school terms
* OLQP - Wednesdays 9-10.30am
* SCB - Thursdays 9-10.30am
