International Women's Day 2026 - Balancing the Scales - CoPP
About
The theme for this year's International Women's Day on Sunday 8 March is 'balancing the scales'.This theme highlights the urgent need for fair, inclusive and accessible justice for every woman and girl.
Despite decades of progress, barriers to justice remain deeply entrenched. One in three women worldwide will experience physical or sexual violence in their lifetime – yet most will never receive formal help or justice.
'Balance the scales' is a collective call to ensure every woman and girl is safe, heard, and free to shape her own future.
We will be hosting our annual International Women's Day external event for invited guests and community members – which is also open to staff!
Join us for an evening of inspiring speakers, a panel discussion, nibbles and networking.
