About
Welcome to Career Start!
In this introductory workshop, 'Thriving in your first year', you’ll be introduced to the Career Start Learning Alliance Leaders and learn how you can get the most out of the program as an early career teacher. The theme of the day is all about belonging and support and you’ll explore practical strategies to strengthen your wellbeing, identify tools to build and maintain supportive classroom environments, and learn how to maximise your collaborative partnership with your mentor. Through practical sessions, you’ll connect with peers and learn from one another, strengthening your sense of belonging in the profession.
Your Mentor has been invited to book themselves in to join you for a catered lunch and attend the afternoon session with you. (You attend all day arrive 8:45am to start 9:00am-3:30pm). Please ensure you book only one session and attend the same session as your Mentor.:
