MetLife Landcare Volunteering at Rydalmere 21 May
About
Step out of the office to celebrate National Volunteering Week 2025 and get your hands dirty planting native trees to restore the natural environment.
This planting activity forms part of the ‘Creating Canopies’ project designed to help combat urban heat islands and provide shade and habitat to native animals by planting 200,000 native trees across greater Sydney from 2023-2025.
No experience required, you will be guided by experienced Landcare supervisors who will show you what to do and talk to you about the impact of this incredible project.
You will be provided with gloves, and all tools and equipment required to undertake the tasks on the day; as well as a catered lunch to enjoy with your team.
This activity involves a moderate level of physical activity.
Capacity: 45 people
Further information will be sent to you after booking.
