Are you a student considering a medical career?St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals, in partnership with Curtin University, invites students from Year 10 and above to join us for an inspiring Medical Careers Information Session.
Enjoy a relaxed and informative evening where you will have the opportunity to:
- Hear from experienced consultants, recently graduated junior doctors, and current medical students
- Speak with the Curtin Medical School admissions team, who will answer your questions about training pathways and entry requirements
Topics covered include:
- Meeting the entry criteria for Curtin Medical School (required marks, interviews, portfolios, UCAT, and more)
- Life as a medical student
- The role of a junior doctor and the pathway to becoming a specialist, including General Practice
To conclude the event, guests will be invited to take part in a Q&A session followed by informal networking, providing the chance to speak with presenters, ask additional questions, and gain valuable insights into the medical profession.
