Brief introduction to the SOWATT approach.
Dr Rosalyn Muir’s extensive experience in education spans five continents. This has reinforced her belief in the pivotal role teachers play in shaping children’s future. Her PhD studies focused on how self-regulation and executive functions can be intentionally developed in the preschool years.
Passionate about bridging the gap between research and practice, she now works to spark awareness (and action) around how these critical skills can be woven into everyday moments in every preschool classroom. She is the author of the book, ‘Developing Executive Functioning in the Early Years’.
