About
After-School Art Classes at AVAS – Term 1 UpdateJoin us for Term 1 of children’s art classes, starting Tuesday 10 February (Week 2).
To ensure our Youth Art program can run this term, we’ve worked with our facilitator to adjust the format. Classes will now run fortnightly as one combined group, with 2-hour sessions instead of weekly 1-hour classes.
These structured classes nurture a love of art, build friendships, and grow creative confidence.
Class Format & Time
Combined group (Ages 5+)
Tuesdays | 3:30pm – 5:30pm
Students will have a short snack break midway through the session. Please bring a water bottle and snack.
Term 1 Facilitator: Jane Button
Jane is a printmaker and mixed-media artist based in Wundowie. A former early childhood teacher of 12 years, Jane shares her passion for art through creative and engaging classes. This term will focus on (but not be limited to) printmaking techniques. You can view her work on social media at @BlueAdmiral68.

• Ticket price covers the full Term 1 program
• Casual sessions available ($50 per session)
• Places are limited — book early
• We hope to return to separate age groups as enrolments grow
• No refunds; credit may be offered for illness or other valid reasons
