About
Join us for a peaceful 4km walk through the Kaurna Wetlands. This natural environment is rich in birdlife, waterways, and native vegetation. This gentle walk offers an opportunity to enjoy fresh air, connect with nature, and learn about the cultural and environmental significance of the wetlands on Kaurna Country.The walk follows established pathways and is suitable for a range of fitness levels. Participants will walk at a comfortable pace with opportunities to pause, observe wildlife, take photos, and enjoy quiet reflection. A short rest stop will be taken before returning to the starting point.
This walk is designed to support physical wellbeing, mental health, and social connection while fostering appreciation for the natural environment. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes, bring water, and dress appropriately for weather conditions.
You are welcome to stay for a coffee afterwards, paid for by Soldier On.
