Newington College in association with MLC School, Burwood Girls High School and SCEGGS Darlinghurst is proud to present Shrek the Musical.Based on the DreamWorks Animation Motion Picture and the book by William Steig, Shrek the Musical features Book and Lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire and Music by Jeanine Tesori.
Shrek, an antisocial ogre, finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale creatures. To reclaim his home, he agrees to go on a quest for the ambitious Lord Farquaad and journeys alongside a wisecracking Donkey to rescue Princess Fiona. But nothing is quite as it seems...
