“Come and Try Sailing” at the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron.A Sailing experience event on Sunday 1 March 2026, 9.45am and 3.00pm
This is your chance to experience hands on sailing on a yacht in a small group
• learn sailing terminology (sheets, halyards, sails, etc)
• get to know your way around a yacht (teamwork involved)
• try out in all positions
• meet new people
• enjoy a great outdoor activity
• Relaxed, friendly and fun, non-confronting
No experience necessary. The Skippers, mentors and boats provided.
Plus:
• Gain an understanding of the pathways to participate in Yacht racing and Crew membership at RSAYS
This 5-hour program includes an overview of sailing, hands-on on water activities sailing on a keel boat, a day Sail pass and a light lunch (Baguette) and drink at the Club house.
Cost $100
Bookings close 5pm Wednesday 25/2/26
Note
• In the event of an adverse weather forecast on the Saturday prior to the event a decision will be made to proceed, re-schedule or cancel. In the event of cancelation your payment will be refunded.
• A booking cancellation fee of $50 will be retained for any bookings cancelled by participants 5pm 27/02/26
