Join us for an engaging MRIWA Tech Talk highlighting Project M0470a, a multi-scale investigation into the controls on mineralisation within the Fraser Zone—one of Western Australia’s most prospective yet least understood geological regions. The project addresses major knowledge gaps by moving from broad orogen-scale interpretations to detailed structural, geochemical and isotopic analyses aimed at identifying mineralisation pathways and diagnostic geochemical fingerprints. Conducted in conjunction with the Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA), this collaborative effort brings together leading expertise to provide a more accurate and comprehensive understanding of this complex terrain.Our speaker, Professor Katy Evans of Curtin University, Lead Investigator on the project, will share insights from her team’s multidisciplinary work and discuss how these findings can sharpen exploration decision‑making and enhance discovery potential across the state.
