International Women's Day Morning Tea
About
Join us for a meaningful and uplifting International Women’s Day Morning Tea, bringing together community, conversation, and connection while supporting an important cause. This special event will feature inspiring guest speaker Ella Brady, a nursing student and the Founder of Rural Endometriosis. Ella will share her journey through nursing studies, her lived experience with endometriosis, and speak on the realities of healthcare in rural and remote regions. Her story highlights the challenges many women face when accessing care outside metropolitan areas and the importance of advocacy, awareness, and support in women’s health.
March is Endometriosis Awareness Month, making this an especially powerful time to learn, listen, and raise awareness for a condition that affects so many women, particularly those living rurally.
Guests will enjoy inspiring guest speakers, live entertainment, delicious platters of food, refreshments, and the opportunity to connect, share stories, learn, and celebrate one another in a welcoming and relaxed setting.
All funds raised from this event will go toward the Emerald Rotary Club in support of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, specifically the Patient Transfer Facility currently being built at Emerald Airport. This facility will play a vital role in improving patient transfers and access to emergency healthcare for our local community and surrounding regions.
