St Mary's College Parent Evening - Red Frogs
About
St Mary's College invites you to attend our Parent Information Evening with Red Frogs. The Red Frogs Party Safe program is an educational initiative designed to empower both students and parents with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate party environments safely. It focuses on key moments such as Schoolies, music festivals, and after‑parties, where young people may encounter heightened risks.
The program aims to educate high school students about safe partying behaviours and the potential dangers associated with alcohol and drug use. By providing practical strategies and real‑world scenarios, it helps students make informed decisions and look out for themselves and their peers.
The Parent Engagement Evening involves engaging parents in open, informed conversations about party culture, expectations, and safety planning. This collaborative approach ensures that parents feel equipped to support their teenagers, reinforce harm‑minimisation messages at home, and maintain healthy communication as young people gain independence.
Light refreshments will be served, and drinks will be available for purchase for a donation to the Waterford Fund.
