If you’re feeling like you missed out on acquiring some pretty handy and practical skills by not learning to sew, but you’re not keen on running out and buy a sewing machine and making your own clothes, this workshop could be for you.There are many simple sewing techniques that we can learn by hand that can help us keep our favourite clothes in rotation for longer, and give us a nice dopamine hit of satisfaction.
This workshop is for absolute beginners, so if you’re not sure how to sew on a button, you’ll fit right in!
You’ll learn how to
- Stitch up a split seam
- Cover a mark with an embellishment
- Sew on a button
Glass of bubbles or tea and bikkies supplied to add to the fun.
