An Osteopathic Approach to Common Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic Conditions of Early Childhood, is the second in this series of Paediatric Osteopathic Courses Presented by Dr Julie Fendall DO MOstSc (Paeds)Julie has over 40 years teaching and clinical experience in paediatrics & brings deep clinical insight and practical knowledge to this comprehensive program.
This course reflects her extensive hands-on experience, offering practitioners clear, applicable strategies that can be integrated immediately into clinical practice.
This programme held over 2 days will cover the clinical presentation, examination and treatment of common musculoskeletal conditions from birth to 7 years of age. It will include lectures on the developmental anatomy, physiology and pathology of the NMSK system in children, discussing clinical assessment, treatment approaches, red flags and referral guidelines.
Practicals will include demonstrations of examination and treatment of paediatric patients. As well as tutored hands on sessions exploring functional treatment approaches to the paediatric population that can be readily taken back into practice.
