March On is Soldier On's major fundraising campaign dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of Australia's Veteran community.Soldier On’s mission is to enable serving and ex-serving veterans and their families to thrive, despite all the unique challenges that Defence life entails. Every dollar raised will help support the life-changing programs Soldier On provides.
To support this cause, join us for a relaxed, sunrise walk from Bar Beach:
Choose from 2 options:
🚶♂️➡️Newcastle Memorial Walk: Bar Beach up to Strzelecki Lookout and back down via ANZAC Memorial Bridge (approx. 2km) (*hills & stairs)
OR
🚶♂️➡️For a flatter route: Bar Beach to Merewether Beach and back (approx. 3km) (on the footpath, *pram & wheelchair accessible)
The walks will be followed by a BBQ and light refreshments at Empire Park.

🕠5:30am: Gather
🚶♂️➡️6:00am: Welcome & Walks commence
☕7:00am - 8:00am: Speeches, Thank yous, BBQ & light refreshments back at Empire Park
