Supporting children with PDA
Learn PDA-informed strategies
Parents and carers of children aged 0-18 years are invited to join Kiind and Jody Kenney from Wagtail Therapy, for a free online workshop focused on supporting children with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).
Jody is a registered psychologist and the owner of Wagtail Therapy, where she specialises in neurodiversity-affirming psychology supports. She especially loves working with PDAers and helping to increase understanding and awareness of PDA within homes and schools.
This workshop is designed to help parents and carers better understand PDA and learn practical, compassionate strategies to support their child’s emotional wellbeing, reduce conflict, and build stronger connections at home.
Topics covered will include:
- Understanding PDA
- Managing everyday challenges using low demands
- Supporting children during moments of dysregulation
Don't miss out on this popular workshop!
We look forward to seeing you online.
This workshop is funded by a grant from the Department of Health, Ageing and Disability. As part of their mandatory reporting requirements, Kiind is required to collect information from parents and carers participating in these workshops. The information collected will be de-identified and securely stored in the DSS Data Exchange. Data will also be used to support the evaluation and improvement of future parent workshops.
