This webinar takes a strengths-based approach in exploring the importance of neurodiversity in the workplace. It guides participants through the major types of neurodivergence and their specific features and experiences. It highlights the benefits of a neurodiverse workforce and offers valuable insights into how to support neurodivergent employees, build stronger teams, and foster a more inclusive, productive, and innovative workplace.Participants can expect to gain from this session an ability to:
- Recognise the different forms of neurodiversity in particular ADHD, autism, dyslexia and dyspraxia;
- Identify the barriers and challenges for neurodivergent colleagues in the workplace;
- Appreciate the strengths that neurodivergent individuals can bring to the workplace;
- Identify how different needs may present in the workplace and apply strategies to support neurodivergent employees;
- Implement inclusive language and apply practical strategies to promote neuroinclusive culture.
Presented by Dr Andrew Stock from En Masse, an experienced psychologist with over a decade of experience working in mental health in Australia and Asia, in clinical practice, teaching, and facilitating programs.
