From Us To You is a community event by Aprieta Collective and New Flower Sound System, where we share our Latin roots with the neighbourhood We call home, Brunswick. The idea is simple: to create a space where culture feels close and familiar, and where people can come together to connect and enjoy music, art, and food.This is an all ages celebration of music, art, and craft. It is a place to dance, connect, support local makers, and enjoy time together in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Everyone is welcome, whether you are part of the Latin community or simply curious to join in.
For this edition, Balam Balam Place feels like the perfect home. It is a true community hub in Brunswick. The music will be in the hands of Aprieta Collective selectors alongside our close friends Calimera and Zafiro, all proudly Latinos. Expect vinyl only sets filled with Afro Latin gems and deep dancefloor classics, played through our favourite vintage HI-FI New Flower Sound System.
