Landcare Week Volunteering, Perth
JOIN US FOR LANDCARE WEEK 2026!
Landcare Australia is inviting you to participate in a multi-team event to celebrate Landcare Week 2026, joining volunteers from other corporate groups to make a massive impact on Landcare activities around the country!
About the event & activities
You will be supporting the efforts of landcare groups and volunteers to enhance the local environment. The Landcare community has been working to restore wetlands, rivers and bushland and protect breeding, roosting and refuge sites for local and international waterbirds.
Activities are likely to include planting native seedlings, spreading mulch and removing invasive weeds.
No experience necessary!
Experienced Landcare members will provide a safety briefing and toolbox talk and support you throughout the day with each task. Event support members will provide information on best-practice planting methods, weed identification, plus share their local environmental knowledge.
This activity requires a moderate to high level of physical activity, however please contact us if you have any concerns as we can often modify things to ensure all your team can participate.
