Celebrate the release of Amin & Lachlan’s debut EP ‘Live at Barossa South Studios’ with them on Wednesday the 27th of May at The Wheatsheaf HotelAmin & Lachlan are an exciting Adelaide-based act blending old school blues with a unique modern flare and energy. Coming off the back of shows supporting blues greats like Mahalia Barnes + The Soul Mates, Nathan Cavaleri and Nick Charles they're ready to release their exciting new EP 'Live at Barossa South Studios' produced by Nigel Bourn from the Honey Badgers. Their influences span across time and genre ranging from early 1920s-1940s Delta and Appalachian Blues greats like Blind Willie McTell and Charley Patton to modern storytellers like Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Big Thief.
They'll be joined by special guest Paul Macleod.
Paul Macleod is a singer songwriter of original Aussie blues and roots music. With 'Paul & Dave' he was a semifinalist at the 2024 International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Paul's current band is Chicago 5, playing hot jumping blues. As a soloist Paul also touches on soul and folk genres.
