Join us as we celebrate 50 years of Townsville SES, with a reunion that is open to all past and current members and their partners.

It's going to be a great event filled with great stories, laughs, and memories from the past five decades. Whether you want to revive memories of your days of serving, or just want to catch up with mates from days gone by, come join the fun and reconnect with the crew. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate 50 years of service and friendship!

The Townsville Unit Headquarters (25 Green St, West End) will be open from 1500-1700hrs (3-5pm) for walk-throughs and viewing of old and new facilities, equipment and photos, followed by a few hours of socialising, refreshments , reminiscing and some prize giving, from 1700-2100hrs (5-9pm) at the Cutheringa Bowls Club.

Attendance at the Unit HQ is free but a cover charge of $10 applies (free for children 16 years and younger) for attendance at the social event, to cover the costs of venue hire and to pre-purchase a selection of hot and cold finger foods that will be provided at the Bowls Club on the night (unfortunately individual meals cannot be bought on the night) and drinks can be purchased at the bar. We apologise in advance but due to venue charges, we are unable to refund any tickets that are not required.

Merchandise can be purchased at a discounted price when booking your tickets online (and collected on the day), or can be purchased on or after the day for a slightly higher price. All proceeds from Merchandise go to the Townsville Unit Support Group funds, which is used to purchase equipment for the local Groups. Merchandise can also be purchased by those not attending the function – just select the relevant merchandise ‘ticket’ only.

If you can't attend but want to register your apology and be given the opportunity to share information about your time with SES for others to read, there is a free 'ticket' option to register your apology.

We will be taking photos at the reunion. If you have any issues with your photo being taken on the day and/or shared on our social media, please advise one of the organisers on arrival at each venue.
