Dr Cabot is excited to be travelling to Dubbo to present a health seminar. Dr Cabot is an integrative doctor and has written over 30 books on health. Today we have an epidemic of chronic diseases, and we have been taught to manage disease mainly with pharmaceutical drugs. Integrative medicine recognises that all the body’s organs are connected and affect each other. The body cannot be healthy without balancing all the organs.For example:
- an unhealthy gut can cause liver disease
- a fatty liver can cause thyroid problems
- thyroid problems can affect the ovaries
- a disordered gut microbiome affects the brain
