Create a Wax Model, then have it cast in Bronze!!At this 1Day workshop in Bayside , Melbourne you will gain a fantastic understanding of how bronze sculptures are created, & create a small Wax Sculpture/Model, which can then be cast in Bronze.(at extra cost).
The workshop begins at 9.30 am with a very special tour of Perrin Sculpture Foundry in Cheltenham, where you will learn about the casting process, a rare opportunity!
Following our tour of the foundry we reconvene at ChiaroScuro Art studio, 44 Edith st, Beaumaris to commence creating our wax model.
Cost $300.00 per person - includes Wax, Tool Kit, Foundry Tour, use of extra Tools/Facilities, Tea & Coffee.
This workshop is definitely suitable for beginners, but is also suited to students/evolving artists who would like a new challenge!
*Please note unfortunately access to ChiariScuro is not wheelchair friendly as the studio is on level 1 with 2 flights of stairs.
