Championing Generalism Workshop 2026
About
The Metro North Health and Brisbane North PHN General Practice Liaison Officer Program invites GPs to join us for the Championing Generalism Workshop. The workshop is a multi-specialty event featuring a range of multi-disciplinary, GP-led, GP-facilitated and case-based discussions to showcase the full breadth of the health care team and optimise collaboration in learning.
This interactive workshop will cover topics from over 10 specialties with opportunities to meet local specialists and learn about new hospital and community services and programs offered in the Brisbane North region.
Topics include:
• Adult ADHD: diagnostic & management considerations
• The metabolic matrix: Rethinking obesity care
• What’s in the future for medical AI?
• Below the belt: Hernias, haemorrhoids & fissures
• Supporting dementia in the community
• Dry eye demystified: Practical insights for everyday practice
• Oncology approaches: Hormonal therapy & immunotherapy
• GP Smart Referrals referral & Request for Advice demonstrations

Completion of post workshop activities will attract additional RACGP points.
