En plein air workshop - watercolour through nature

Explore the medium of watercolour in a two-hour en plein air workshop with local artist Michelle Zuccolo. Working outside, you will be using nature and landscapes as inspiration.
Various techniques will be demonstrated, encouraging confidence in mixing colour and basic watercolour painting applications including laying washes, colour glazing and lifting out. You’ll receive insight from a professional artist into this sometimes unpredictable and challenging medium.

This workshop is held in association with the exhibitions Clarice Beckett: Paintings from the National Collection and Encounters with Port Phillip Bay, on display at Bayside Gallery 7 March – 26 April 2026.
