Create wonderful mirrored patterns using prefelts.Belle, your tutor, will guide you through the process, step by step. You will learn how to cut the designs and rearrange them to create new patterns. Then how to turn these fibres into felt - a strong, fabulous fabric.
Beginners are welcome as well as those with wet felting experience.
We use beautiful hand dyed wool so all kinds of colours are available. As it is easier to work with dry prefelts, Belle will make these in advance but she will discuss the process with so you can make your own at home for future projects. We will aim to make a cushion cover to learn the technique. Once learned you can use it in all kinds of projects like place mats or floor mats. It is a great technique for furnishings and functional items.
The exchange: All materials, tuition and use of tools, coffee and tea are provided for $87.00
We will break for lunch so bring your lunch with you.
This is an in-person workshop for adults only.
Grab a friend or come on your own. Meet other creative people. We always have fun with lots of laughter at these workshops.
