Kunanyi Folk Club, 7th March with Isabel Rumble
About
The Kunanyi Folk Club is proud to present Isabel Rumble on the 7th of March. As always, several floorspots will open the evening.Indie-folk songstress, Isabel Rumble crafts intimate and earth-rooted songs that speak directly to the heart. She returns to Tasmania in 2026 with her new album Hold Everything Lightly.
Isabel’s debut Bird Be Brave, recorded in Tasmania with Luke Plumb, has taken her around the globe from significant festivals (Port Fairy, Blue Mountains) to house concerts in India and the Austrian Alps. She returned to her home in the southern valleys of NSW to record with producer Heath Cullen, and October 2025 saw the release of Isabel’s second full-length album, Hold Everything Lightly.
The album has had extensive national radio play, online features, and been warmly received on tour across the country in intimate candlelit listening rooms and iconic full-band venues alike.
Atwood Magazine (US) reviewed the new record: “Breathtaking…Hold Everything Lightly is that rare record that feels like a conversation with the soul. It asks nothing of you but stillness – to listen, to breathe, to let go. As Rumble herself says: The heart knows.”
Isabel’s live show weaves warm acoustic textures, poetic storytelling, and a “voice like honey” (ABC Country) to create listening spaces that captivate and heal. She will continue to tour Hold Everything Lightly throughout 2026, returning to the UK, Ireland and Europe alongside multiple Australian dates and festival appearances.
Dinner is available from 6.00pm but must be booked separately with the Fern Tree Tavern on bit.ly/FernTreeTavern, on 6239 1171.
