In a world shaped by complexity and unspoken power dynamics, Healing Waters: Power and Privilege invites us to meet these themes through the body, with care and curiosity. Power and privilege can be charged words, often evoking discomfort or defensiveness. Here, those responses are welcomed as meaningful information. Through embodied movement, shared rhythm, and gentle inquiry, we explore how power and disempowerment live in the body, how agency is felt moment to moment, and how conscious choice becomes possible when we stay present. Health and safety:
We want you, Douglas, Stephen, Jacqueline and the producer and crew as well as the other workshop participants to feel as safe as possible during our 3 days together. Please support the workshop community by not attending the workshop if you have any signs of cold, flu, covid or any other contagious health issues or if you have been in regular close contact with someone who has.

Douglas' Bio:
Douglas is a leader, husband, and father. He has been involved with the wellness movement for over 20 years. His professional passion is aligning impactful projects with like-minded individuals, supporting them in creating lasting teams that become global ambassadors for the future.
Douglas has been a conscious movement facilitator for over 15 years. He is a certified 5Rhythms® teacher. Douglas currently serves as the founder & CEO of the Weaving Waters Collective; an organisation dedicated to creating healing and reconciliation centers for all sentient beings.
Personally, his greatest passion and inspiration is his love for his family and time spent in pure nature. An avid surfer, diver, forager and play-date for his young daughter, Douglas is at home in the streets of NYC and equally so between his current home-bases of Big Sur, California and Aotearoa.
Stephens Bio:
Stephen’s love and passion for dance and the body in motion runs deep, having
completed programs with Janice Claxton, Gestalt Therapy and various mens support
programs back in the 1990’s, culminating in his creation “Tribal Dance classes” now
in its third decade.
A certified 5Rhythms teacher for eight years.
Stephen is a dedicated husband, lives and works on the Gold Coast, Australia.
He has worked with the wellness industry within Australia’s leading health retreats,
his own clients, as a bodyworker and dance and movement facilitator for over 30yrs.
Professionally, his vision, wether, personal one on one or group work has always
been facilitating programs that encouragingly support, build and instil a stronger
sense of internal freedom, connection, agency and choice, personally and for the
wider community.
Personally, his inspiration and enjoyment for life is derived from the source of life
itself, submerging himself in nature. Drawing inspiration from his marriage,
fatherhood, yoga, surfing and the Dance of life itself, on and off the dance floor.
His driving belief is that we are all part of a larger, influential, interconnected,
delicate balancing act of a greater web of life that influences all of our daily lives.
Jacqueline's Bio
Jacqueline has been practicing 17 years and teaching 5 Rhythms since 2018.
Her current teaching practice is based on the Gold Coast of Australia. She is imbued with an innate generosity that comes alive in her teaching. This generous spirit coupled with compassionate service allows a wide-open space for freedom and expression to emerge in the rooms that are blessed with her presence.
Cancellation policy
We understand that life happens and have put the following cancellation policy in place if you need to cancel for any reason, including illness or emergency after you have registered for this event:
Cancellation notice before December 20, 2025- you will receive a refund minus a non refundable admin fee of $60.
Cancellation notice before May 15, 2026- you will receive a full refund minus $100 admin fee.
If you need to cancel between May 15th and June 5th, you will receive a full refund minus $200 admin fee
No refund after June 5, (however if there is someone on the waitlist who can take your place, we will refund your ticket minus a $80 admin fee)
**There is Liability waiver that will need to be signed before attending this workshop
