The Friends of Old Government House are proudly participating in the South Australian History Festival 2026, and will open the OGH complex every Sunday in May, from 1-4pm.Step back to 1860 at Old Government House, nestled in beautiful Belair National Park. Built as the summer residence for South Australia’s early governors, this magnificent state heritage listed complex holds many fascinating stories of the people who lived, worked and visited here over the last 166 years.
Join a guided tour through the grand rooms and original servants’ quarters, then wander the stunning gardens at your own pace. Enjoy a vintage themed Devonshire Tea to complete your visit.
Please note: Guided tours will be available every Sunday. Guided Tours with Afternoon Tea will only be available on the 3rd and 17th May.
