National Community Foundations Forum 2026
About
The National Community Foundations Forum returns in 2026 under the theme 'Meeting The Moment'.
At a pivotal time for our movement, this year’s Forum brings the field together to connect, learn and step forward with purpose. In a world shaped by profound shifts - from climate transition and changing energy systems to rising inequality and pressures on social cohesion - community foundations have a distinctive role to play in grounding responses in local knowledge and community leadership. Following the historic achievement of DGR reform, we’ll focus on what it means to meet the moment - equipping foundations with the tools, relationships and clarity they need now, wherever they are on their journey.
Through tailored learning pathways, practical skill-building, strategic dialogue and collective sense-making, the Forum is designed to strengthen both individual foundations and our shared momentum as a network. Join us to deepen relationships, spark new collaborations and leave energised to help realise community-led change toward a bright, fair and sustainable future.
The National Forum will run from Sunday 17 May 2026 5:00 PM to Tuesday 19 May 2026 4:00 PM. There will be optional peer gatherings and side events on Sunday 17th between 9am and 4pm - while these are yet to be co-designed and confirmed, please factor this into your travel timing if of interest.
Venue address: The Abbotsford Convent is located at 1 St Heliers St, Abbotsford VIC 3067.
