The Metro North Health and Brisbane North PHN GP Liaison Officer Program invite GPs to join us for the 2026 Maternity Workshop. This interactive workshop will feature presentations, case studies and interactive skills stations facilitated by local specialists and a multi-disciplinary team.TOPICS WILL INCLUDE:

- Maternity care options
- Screening and diagnostic tests
- Prescribing in pregnancy
- Immunisations
- First trimester presentations - early pregnancy bleeding, hyperemesis
- Diabetes in pregnancy
- Hypertension and pre-eclampsia
- VTE prevention
- Perinatal mental health
- Pre-term birth prevention
- Reduced fetal movements
- Postnatal care
- Breast feeding
