Hepburn Energy have been going beyond the wind farm, and supporting local homes to electrify and become energy efficiency for over a decade. As of 2025, the co-operative has delivered just under $7m in community programs and supported over 450 homes and more than 80 community groups to directly benefit - largely from solar, battery and heat pump hot water systems. Currently, the co-operative is delivering the Community Electrification Engagement Program across the Grampians Central West region for the Victorian State Government. Lane will be discussing how to reduce your electricity costs.
Taryn has worked at Hepburn Energy for over 15 years - located in Leonards Hill, it is a 100% community-owned energy cooperative.
