FRIENDS OF CARRICK HILL MEMBERS ONLY are invited to a FREE curated tour celebrating 40 years of Carrick Hill with Carrick Hill Curator, Dr Ellen Whitton. In 2026, Carrick Hill marks 40 years as a historic house museum, art gallery and gardens. Officially opened in March 1986 by Queen Elizabeth 2 and Prince Phillip, the estate has since welcomed generations of visitors to explore its remarkable collections and grounds.
OUT OF THE ARCHIVES brings rarely seen objects into view including fragile pieces, unusual items and works with complex or sensitive histories. This exhibition celebrates the depth of the collection and enduring legacy of Sir Edward and Lady Ursula Hayward.
