We have been fortunate to secure a booking at the Scout Alpine Adventure Centre in Mt Baw Baw during winter. Time to get right into the Alpine badges as well as have some fun with two days in the snow!
The cost of this event is still to be worked through but it will be more expensive than normal camps (could be $400+) for accommodation, equipment/clothes hire (as needed), lift pass, ski lessons (if needed), food etc. We will do our best to keep costs down and negotiate group discounts where we can.
This initial ticket represents a deposit so we can pay the accommodation which needs to be paid in full to secure our booking. Any amounts not used for the accommodation will be used for the other items.
There are two ticket types - one for leaders/adult helpers and one for scouts. Leaders/adult helpers will not be required to pay for accommodation but will need to fund any ski equipment, clothes, lessons if needed. No deposit is required for them at this stage. Adult helpers will need to have valid training certification with Scouts Victoria to attend. Please only select an adult helper if you have spoken with Dan B and it has been agreed upon.
We have a deadline to pay the accommodation so please provide the deposit by 25 February to secure your spot. We will be reaching out to the Venturers to fill any vacancies so don't miss out!
