About

We’re designing a new event to support high school students to develop their knowledge around careers and pathways. We want your perspectives as young people from Brimbank to help shape the program design.

Who this is for:

We want to hear from young people aged 14-25 who live, work, study or socialise in Brimbank. It doesn't matter if you're currently at school or left several years ago - we're keen to hear a variety of experiences and reflections.
 

Workshop details:

🗓️ Date: Wednesday 25 March 2026

📍 Location: Visy Cares Hub - 80b Harvester Rd, Sunshine

⏰ Time: 4:30-6:00pm 

💲Remuneration: $50 voucher provided to remunerate you for your time (provided after attending)

🖐️Submit an expression of interest to participate  - applications close 17 March 2026!
 

What to expect:

At the workshop, we will have conversations and run group activities to unpack a range of topics. These might include: 

• What careers or pathways information do young people want to know (or find difficult to access)
• What industries or jobs young people are most curious to learn more about
• What questions you would want to ask people working in jobs/industries you're interested in
• What makes a panel session engaging and relatable
• What makes an event feel welcoming and inclusive 

Next steps:

• Submit your Expression of Interest by 17 March 2026
• We'll let you know the outcome of your application
• Selected participants will then join us for a 1.5h co-design workshop on Wednesday 25 March
