As war continues to devastate Sudan, millions of families have been forced to flee to neighbouring countries with little more than the clothes they are wearing. Parents are struggling to feed their children. Elders are living without security. Entire communities are facing hunger, trauma, and loss.
This fundraiser has been created to stand with Sudanese refugees and to respond in a practical, life-sustaining way.
All funds raised will go directly toward providing food packages for Sudanese families who have escaped the war and are now living as refugees in neighbouring countries. These packages are a vital lifeline offering nourishment, dignity and hope in a time of unimaginable hardship.
The evening will feature:
- Sudanese and non-Sudanese speakers sharing insights into the current situation
- Real witness accounts from those directly affected
- A panel discussion exploring the humanitarian crisis and pathways of support
- A documentary screening about the war in Sudan
An explanation of how the food packages will be distributed and the work of the supporting charities (Muslimaid and MCF)
This event is not ONLY about awareness, it is about impact.
