In this “AI 101” session we’ll look at a range of AI tools that can increase productivity, help with lesson planning and support student learning. Explore music-specific AI software that will remove vocals, create backing tracks, and speed up music learning. Discover how to transform PDF sheet music into a playable, editable notation file, how to generate songs and provide your students with an endless supply of sight reading material. We’ll also discuss how to manage some of the fears around the use of AI in education. You’ll leave with a shortlist of educational AI tools to explore and a collection of ideas for utilising AI in your music classes and teaching practice.Katie Argyle is a music technology trainer, consultant, blogger and podcaster who is passionate about helping music teachers through her business Midnight Music.
