James Fritz’s critically acclaimed Start Swimming is abstract and surreal, hilarious and confronting.
Part gameshow, part existential dread - in his script, there are no characters and no stage directions
- every creative decision left up to us to decide. In this world, the rules are unknown. Is it worth
taking risks when one error can destroy everything? How can we fight the unseen powers
manipulating us, when the rules keep changing?
'And you better start swimmin' or you'll sink like a stone, for the times, they are a'changin'
