About
We don’t often script our conversations before we start talking. Similarly, we can begin a physical conversation without knowing where it will lead. In this two-day workshop of three hours each day, Linton invites participants to move from instinct, passion, and immediate response, using dance as a vessel for kinaesthetic communication where intuition precedes design. Every offer is an opportunity to say yes… and…! Rather than seeking polished outcomes, we’ll explore the living language of movement itself: how translation, abstraction, and overlapping intentions reveal new relationships and possibilities in each moment.Through spontaneous composition, we’ll embrace curiosity, subterfuge, and a touch of chaos as creative tools. Each encounter asks, What does the room need right now? What am I invited to be in this moment, and how might I or the room be redefined in the next? Linton’s grounded yet playful approach creates a space where dancers feel safe and empowered to explore and connect. He massaged us brilliantly during Unveiled, so he knows our bodies and will be able to honour our reality.
Be prepared for an inspiring and creative weekend of fun and learning. The workshops will run from 1.00pm to 4.00pm each day.
